League leaders Weston-super-Mare need just two points from Saturday’s home game against Okehampton to become the Regional 2 Tribute Ale South West champions for the 2025/26 season.

Going into their final three games of the season, Weston is 19 points clear of second-placed Tiverton, who have a game in hand (we’ll leave you to do the maths), with the two sides meeting at Bolham Road on Saturday, March 28, kick-off 2.30 pm.

When Weston travelled to Okehampton at the end of November, both sides collected a bonus point as the hosts scored a try five minutes from time, but the visitors hung on to win 26-21, ending Okes run of five home victories.

Fly-half Archie Tilsley will make his 100th appearance for Weston United in the Counties 3 Tribute Ale Somerset South match away to North Petherton, with the visitors looking to complete a league double having won 48-5 at home in November.

Ahead of Saturday’s match, Weston United have seven games still to play and, because Wellington 2ndXV have been removed from the league and their results expunged, are fourth in the table, ten points behind the leaders.
