At the end of the Club’s 150th Anniversary, which saw the 1stXV finish the season unbeaten to gain promotion to Regional 1 Tribute Ale South West, Weston-super-Mare RFC held their Senior Playing Awards evening in the Clubhouse on Friday, May 1, 2026.
Back row Nasili Ikahihifo named Weston's Player's Player of the Year.
Nasili scored 13 tries in his 19 appearances for the 1stXV

Jacob Cox to be named the Player of the Year. He made 21 appearances for 1stXV during the season, scoring four tries

Dan Beer’s nine tries and 12 conversions during his 17 appearances saw him named United Players' Player of the Year
Sam Light eight tries in his 15 appearances saw him pick up United's Player of the Year award.

Jason Owen was named the Athletic Players' Player of the Year having made 12 appearances and scoring four tries. Jason was unable to attend the presentation.

Ethan Westlake was named Athletic Player of the Year, having played in eight games this season, scoring two tries
The Colts’ Players Player of the Year Award was jointly presented to Max Hawkins (on the left) and Max Dando (on the right) while the Colts Player of the Year Award was presented to Liam Hughes (in the centre)

The Anne Whately Award, awarded by Anne's family to a young person who has shown exceptional commitment,
was awarded to Oscar Crompton by Paul Whatley.
The Clive Sibley Memorial Award - the unsung hero - was presented by Club President, Roger Coles, to Wayne Sugg

The Peter Spencer Award, for significant contribution to the Club’s playing of rugby,
was presented by Club President, Roger Coles, to Keith Bisdee
The Chairman's Award, chosen by Chairman Alex Larkin for services to the Club,
was awarded to Commercial Director Sam Waterman.
The Clubman of the Year, the premier award for outstanding service to the Club,
was presented by Paul Sloman to Weston Athletic’s Team Manager Clayton Dorrington
