ROSS BENNETT MADE HIS 223RD AND FINAL APPEARANCE FOR WESTON 1STXV AGAINST BOURNEMOUTH

Ross Bennett played his 223rd and final Weston 1stXV appearance in the final Tribute South West Premier game of the season against Bournemouth. He started at scrum half but later switched to full back.

He left the pitch minutes before the final whistle to receive a standing ovation from the crowd.
Bennett made his senior debut when he came off the bench in the game away to Oxford Harlequins in December 2006.
Epsom-born Bennett, who can also play at full-back, made his 100th first-team appearance in January 2013 at home to Newton Abbot.
His 150th appearance was in October 2015 when Bridgwater & Albion were the visitors.
He has scored 44 tries and kicked one conversion for the 1stXV while his 77 United appearances have seen 30 tries and four conversions and the 12 Athletic games have reaped eight tries, one conversion and a penalty.
