When you are watching the British & Irish Lions Test matches on television in the coming weeks, watch out for a very distinctive flag in the hands of three Weston-super-Mare RFC's Past Players Association members.

Either Adam Cashmore, Gary White or Dave Hetherington will be holding the flag while the other two have their hands firmly gripped on the drinks.

After a send-off from the Ship in Uphill, Adam and Gary flew out on July 9 – via a stop at the Fork & Ale in Weston and Tiawan, with Dave joining them a week later in Brisbane.

Following the First Test at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, the team will fly to Melbourne for seven nights. They will be in the crowd at Marvel Stadium for the Lions game against the First Nations & Pasifika XV on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, ko: 11 am (UK time).

After a tour of four wineries (tough on tour!), the trio will watch the Second Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground, which they will have toured before the First Nations & Pasifika XV match, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, ko: 11 am (UK time).

They then face a long Mini-Bus drive to Broulee, a coastal town located on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia, between Batemans Bay and Moruya. Then on to Robertson, which is known for its high annual rainfall and fertile soil.

Wednesday afternoon will be spent on a two-hour Jervis Bay Whale Watching Cruise. Thursday will be the trio on the Grand Pacific Highway Drive heading for Sydney. Then there is the Third Test on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Stadium Australia, aka Accor Stadium.

They fly back to the UK on August 3, 2025, but remember when they return, no matter how many drinks you stand them at the bar, "What goes on tour stays on tour."
