Jay Davis again named Weston's Player's Player of the Year.

Back row player Jay Davis was named Weston-super-Mare 1st XV's Players' Player of the Year for the second year at the Club's annual Awards Night.


Davis, who was unable to attend the event, scored 15 tries in his 14 injury-hit season for the Club. the awarded was presented by 1stXV Team Managere Chris Heath to Ryan Watterston on Jay's behalf

But Callum Kingscott pipped Jay to be named the Player of the Year with the award b eing presented by coach John Bamsey and Darren Crompton.


Director of rugby, Mark Matthews, presented centre Cam Maslen with his Club cap having passed his 100 career appearances for the 1st XV during the season.


Rhodri Williams' 15 appearances saw him pick up United's Player of the Year award.

 Ross Chesher was named United Players' Player of the Year.

Lucas Williamson was named Athletic Player of the Year, having played in 15 league games this season,

Mike Powell was named the Athletic Players' Player of the Year.


The Anne Whately Award, awarded by Anne's family to a young player who has shown exceptional commitment, was awarded to Ollie Marshall, having made 15 Athletic appearances in his debut senior season.


The Clive Sibley Memorial Award - the unsung hero - was presented by Club President to Chris Jones for his invaluable work behind the scenes on matchdays.

The Chairman's Award, chosen by Chairman Alex Larkin for services to the Club, was awarded to John Harding.


The Clubman of the Year, the premier award for outstanding service to the Club, was presented by Paul Sloman t0 Gavin Simpson and Chris Young.
