Club’s community comes together over the Christmas period to build fences.
The true spirit of an inclusive Club was seen over the Christmas holiday period to rebuild a fence behind one of the goalposts that had surrendered to the recent heavy winds.
Around thirty members of Weston-super-Mare RFC – ranging from coaches, players, former players and junior members – gave up their time during the festive period to repair the fencing.
It proved that mainly hands could make light work as it took the willing workers less than half a day to complete the exercise in far from ideal conditions.
Weston-super-Mare 1stXV will start 2022 with three home Tribute South West Premier league games. The Seasiders will be looking to improve on their fourth-place when Brixham visit on January 8, Okehampton on January 15 and Camborne on January 22.
