Weston-super-Mare withdraw from Papa John’s Community Cup.

Unfortunately, Weston-super-Mare RFC cannot field a team for the Papa John's Community Cup, South Shield quarter-final, second leg, scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025, against Cullompton RFC at Stafford Park.

Weston-super-Mare RFC does not have a front row, with only one prop that is effectively available.  

Therefore, Weston-super-Mare RFC has confirmed its withdrawal from the Papa John's Community Cup competition with Cullompton RFC and the RFU Competitions Department.

This is frustrating for all involved at this Club, and we are sure that the same applies at Cullompton, as this would have been their first home game in the competition this season.

We wish Cullompton every success in the competition. We believe they will play Old Centralians in the semi-finals.

We look forward to our Regional 2 South West League encounters with Cullompton RFC next season.
