Weston-super-Mare’s 40-12 home victory over Teignmouth has seen them through to the two-legged quarter-final finals of this season's Papa Johns Community Cup, Regional 2 Shield, where they will face Cullompton, who won 68-22 at North Dorset.
The first leg of the quarter-final will be held at Weston-super-Mare on Saturday, April 26, 2025, kick-off 3 pm
The second leg at Cullompton’s Stafford Park ground on Saturday, May 3, 2025, kick-off 2.30 pm.
Cullompton, who play in the Regional 2 South West league along with the likes of Teignmouth and Winscombe, finished their league campaign seventh on 46 points, while Weston-super-Mare were seventh in Regional 2 Severn with 57 points
The aggregate winner of the quarter-finals will progress to the semi-finals on Saturday, May 10, 2025, with the Papa Johns Community Cup, Regional 2 Shield final being staged on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Dings Crusaders’ Shaftesbury Park ground.
The other Papa Johns Community Cup, Regional 2 Shield quarter-final ties are Old Centralians v Aylesbury, Old Reigatian v Darfordians and Thurrock v Rochford Hundred. Rochford had a Bye in the last round while the sides progressed after Walk Overs.
