Weston-super-Mare RFC, the home of rugby in Weston, is delighted to celebrate its 150th anniversary for the upcoming 2025/26 season. As a member and community-run rugby club in the heart of the town, we have a thriving membership spanning the Minis, Juniors, Girls (Roses), Seniors and Vets, with players ranging from U6 to 60+…!
Amidst the celebrations, we have high aspirations for all seniors’ teams, playing across Levels 6, 9 & 10, to push for promotion from their respective leagues in the upcoming season. The Vets remain unbeaten for as long as any of the current management team can remember!
Aspiring to be like their favourite 1st Team player one day, the Mini’s (U6-U11), Junior’s (U12-U16), and Roses continue to go from strength to strength. It’s fantastic to see the addition of a U12 team in the Roses section (joining the U14, U16 & U18), creating a pathway for girls’ rugby out of mixed Mini rugby. Hopefully, they will collectively create a Women’s side for the future!
As of July 2025, we have 1961 followers on Instagram and 2330 followers on Facebook. An active drive on everything social media this season will give a sponsor significant exposure and visual engagement to your company.
Sponsorship money is used solely to aid the Club, its players, members and supporters. With the long-awaited proposed development happening around the ground, significant plans are afoot for the Club to develop its facilities. Over the past few seasons, we have developed and created a separate Roses changing room facility and funded portable floodlights to facilitate training nights on multiple pitches. We have also significantly improved the clubhouse facilities and adjoining rooms to align with members' requests.
As a sponsor of Weston-super-Mare RFC, the money will be apportioned and utilised effectively around the Club to optimise its benefit. We would also like to discuss how being a sponsor actively promotes your business to our membership base and drives revenue accordingly. Moving forward, we view the support we receive from you as a sponsor as a two-way partnership that is mutually beneficial.
