Take notice that the Annual General Meeting of Weston-super-Mare RFC will be held in the Clubhouse

on Thursday 14 May 2026 starting at 7.15 p.m.


This important meeting is convened to receive reports from the Chair of the Club, the Finance Director and if required, from the Trustees.

The members of the Board for the season 2026-27 are elected at this meeting.

Nominations for the following positions are invited from bona fide members using the nomination 2026 form - available to download below.

• Club President
• Club Chair
• Board Secretary
• Finance Director
• Senior Rugby Director
• Mini and Junior Rugby Director
• Commercial Director
• Ground Development Director
• Facilities Director.

Members wishing to be nominated may be asked to satisfy an HMRC ‘fit and proper person test’.

Nominations for non-Board roles of Membership Secretary and Safeguarding Officer are also invited.

Completed nomination forms must be with the secretary@westonrugby.co.uk no later than 23.59 on 06 May 2026.

Note that nominees for the position of Chair must have been a member of the Board (or previous Management Committee) for 3 out of the last 5 years.

The AGM appoints the Club Accountant, Doctor and Solicitor.

The annual membership subscription is set at the AGM

The AGM may, exceptionally, take items of general business. These must be with the Board Secretary no less than 7 days before the meeting.
