With the AGM just a few weeks away, we would welcome you to consider standing for a Board position.
I list below the current nominations from which you will note many of the current Board wish to remain in post but that does not prevent you from also submitting a nomination.
• Club President - Roger Coles
• Club Chair - Alex Larkin
• Board Secretary - Ann Davies
• Finance Director - David Main
• Senior Rugby Director - Mark Matthews
• Mini and Junior Rugby Director - Gary Moore
• Commercial Director
• Ground Development Director - Roger Marshall
• Facilities Director
• Membership Secretary (non-Board role) Chris Young
• Safeguarding Officer (non-board role) Emma Hughes
There are currently no nominations for the Commercial or Facilities Directorships and these roles are essential to the proper, efficient and fruitful management of our Club.
In basic, broad terms:
• The Commercial Director is responsible for leading the function which covers the marketing of the club including social media, fundraising and social events.
• The Facilities Director is responsible for the management and maintenance of the club’s facilities ensuring they are available to the appropriate standard when required e.g. match days
Both roles benefit from and need a supporting team to help share the workload so, if sitting on the Board is not for you but you still like to be involved, please do let me know.
