About 100 players and members sat together for the first time in 3 years to celebrate our achievements this season.

They were joined by guest Larry Davies president of Somerset Rugby Referees Society.

They heard presentations from Chris Ashworth, Anne Davies, Taff Doughty, Matt Burns, Chris Heath, Paul Whately, George Sparks, head coach Darren Crompton, skipper Tom Sugg, and WSMRFC President Barry Sparks.

Rapturous applause greeted each award winner.

This season the cups will be retained and displayed in the Clubhouse but each award winner was given an engraved tankard as a permanent memento.

The following awards were made;
Athletic player of the year - James Harris
Colt of the Year - Huw Matthews
United Players' player - Adam Fisher
United player of the year - Billy Kirk
1st XV Players' player - Jack Curtis
1st XV Player of the year James Mackay
200 appearances caps awarded to Ross Bennet, James Mackay, and Chris Young
Anne Whately cup - Huw Matthews
Clive Sibley memorial cup - Lauran Land
Peter Spencer award - Rob Harris
Chairman's award - George Sparks
Clubman of the year -David Main

Benny and his team were thanked for providing a splendid meal, and Lauran and her team for keeping the drinks flowing

The players and members got down to some serious post prandial celebration!!
