Weston-super-Mare fielded different teams in each half of their final pre-season game against visitors Gordano who were having their first taste of competitive action as their previous game at North Petherton was cancelled because the ground was too hard.

The Seasiders went into the break 31-5 ahead thanks to two tries from Josh Mynett plus one each from Cam Maslen, Euan Tremlett and Harry Butland plus three conversions from James Mackay.

Crossing the whitewash for Weston-super-Mare in the second half were Jack Press, AJ Hassell and two from Ollie Walrond while Archie Tilsley adding three conversions.

The squad will be back in training on Monday evening ahead of their opening Regional 1 Tribute South West game at home to Brixham on Saturday, September 3, 2022, kick-off 3pm.
