Weston United saw their run of four victories in the Tribute Somerset Premier league halted when they were beaten 27-13 by Hornets 2ndXV under the Friday night floodlights at The Nest.
The title-chasing home side led 17-6 at half time through two converted tries and a penalty, with Archie Tilsley kicking two penalties for Weston United.
The second half saw the Hornets 2ndXV add a second penalty and another converted try with the United responding with a try from No.8 Ben Cox with Archie Tilsley adding the conversion.
Weston United are in action again on Saturday, December 4, when they host unbeaten league leaders Nailsea & Backwell, kick-off 2.30 pm.
