Weston Athletic had secured a try-scoring bonus point before half time in their Tribute Somerset 2 North home game against Yatton 2ndXV as they led 33-19 going into the break before adding another eight tries in the second half.

The game saw the father and son act of Mark, recently back on British soil, and Huw. There were tries in the opening forty minutes from Dan Beer, Huw Matthews, Rich Frost, Dan Meadon and Jack Bridgman, with Beer also adding four conversions.

In the second half, there were touchdowns from Rich Bishop, James Harris, two from Beer to complete his hat-trick, a brace from Dylan Way, Jon Hammond-Williams and Tom Burge, with Beer converting six to take his tally in the game to 35 points.
