Weston United ran in nine tries, including four from wing Hayden Main, in their 59-14 Tribute South West Premier at home to Avon, with fly-half Archie Tilsley scoring 14 points with the points before he was forced to leave the action due to injury.

The result was never really in doubt with touchdowns also for scrum-half Dan Lomax, second-row Callum Kingscott, outside centre Huw Morgan, replacement George Bamsey and left wing, Joe Burgess.

The visitors had left wing Matt Thresher sent to the sin bin early in the second half as they trailed 27-nil. Right wing Iain Parris and second-row Josh Hiscott crossed the whitewash for the visitors, with full-back Jonny Batchelor converting both.
