Weston United had to settle for a losing bonus point and a one for four tries from their Tribute Somerset Premier match away to third-placed Minehead Barbarians, with the hosts having a slender 17-15 half time lead.

Fly-half Archie Tilsley landed an early penalty before crossing for a try and adding the extras to the touchdown from wing Hayden Main. A try from scrum-half Ross Bennett earlier in the second half saw the United take the lead for the first time.

The Barbarians levelled the scores with a penalty only for Main to cross for his second try, which Tilsley converted. But the hosts scored two converted tries to seal the visitor and take maximum points.
