Weston United came away with the points but the scoreline flattered the visitors who for long periods were under the cosh and only stout defence kept the home side scoreless.
Weston opened the scoring after five minutes when lock Mark Walker stole a ball and fed scrum half James Reid who gave the supporting flanker James Matthews a chance to break.
He produced a great dummy and raced away before offloading to fly half Harry Warman who crossed for the opening score.
Wells then produced a sustained spell of pressure which deserved some reward however Weston held out and after two disallowed efforts Weston doubled their tally when the excellent Chris Hurd at full back made a great break followed by a chip and chase which he gathered to score a great individual try.
Straight from the resulting kick off Weston scored again when captain Tom Wheatley and flanker Eddy Saunders combined to put centre Matt Burns away on a pacey run which ended with him going over near the posts. Warman added the extras.
The second half saw replacement flanker Darren Doughty go over after a catch and drive led by impressive prop Neil Lavender and wily number eight Dave Steel.
A scrum against the head allowed Warman to give a miss pass to Burns who fed prolific left wing James Arnold the chance to cross. Reid added the extras. Warman then added his second following good work by Lavender and Saunders. He also converted to make the final score 36 0 to the visitors.
